Condor Islander

Condor Ferries Operate RoRo ferries between the UK Mainland and the Channel Islands. The Condor Islander has recently commenced a route between Portsmouth and Guernsey.Due to increased weather forecasts Condor Ferries decided they required tug assistance for the ferries' arrival at Guernsey.

Aquatic Towage chartered the small stan tug Christine which was in Falmouth at the time. The Christine was underway to Guernsey within 4 hours of the first calland was on station in Guernsey the following morning for the ferries inagural arrival at St Peter Port Harbour.

In all the Christine was on station for 5 days due to the weather forecasts each day.
