Aquatic Warrior Catches a Giant Octopus

Octopus are the talk of the fishing fleet in the English Channel, and the Aquatic Warrior just had to get in on the act. We mobilised to Newhaven to tow the jack up platform from a completed project to its home port in Kallo, Belgium for its owner Hierbosch Kier. The towage involved crossing the busy waters of the Dover Straits, dodging cross channel ferries, shipping bound for the large ports of Europe and the UK coast and then a few migrant inflatable boats all with only a steel cable connecting the tug Aquatic Warrior to the Octopus. The towage went without a hitch and the Octopus was delivered safely to its owners in Kallo.
